Natural, un-dyed wool from the Corriedale Cross sheep. Perfect for needle felting as it felts up quickly. It has a staple length of 90 mm, and is 29.5 microns. Natural cream color (not white).
I am having so much fun turning whisps of wool into little creatures. My granddaughters sat down last weekend and for almost 9 hours (with a break for dinner) they sat side by side having a wonderful time. They created from patterns found, while discussing back and forth what else they could, and did create with their imagination. The younger is in 7th grade, the older is in her 1st year of college (studying art).
I am a new spinner and this is wonderful! I am learning on a drop spindle and before getting this my only experience was a quarter-ounce of merino just to see if I really want to do this. So today the desert breeze box arrived and I am already making beautiful, smooth yarn! Thank you, I will definitely be ordering more
A lot comes in that box which was a surprise but I'm new to the needle felting craft. I would purchase this again. Came timely even during a pandemic.
This wool is so soft. Excellent for base shape that you build on. Easy to work with.

This wool works really well for wrapping armatures, and also as core wool for projects without an armature, as it felts up nicely. It's also very soft and clean, which makes handling it a pleasure!
