Peruvian Alpaca and USA Merino Wool Hiking Socks - The Best of Both Wools!
The ultimate combination for outdoor adventure & cozy comfort!
Merino and Alpaca are the best natural fibers when it comes to performance and comfort in the outdoors. Baby Alpaca fiber is super soft, and comes from the first shearing (wool clipping) of a young alpaca. We sourced the baby alpaca from our friends in Peru. The merino wool is sourced from ranches across the western USA. Cashlon is added for softness and strength - soft as cashmere, strong as nylon!
- Baby Alpaca wool is the softest wool on the planet. It comes from the first clipping of the wool from a young alpaca.
- Fine Merino is also very soft, and ads loft and cushiness.
- Un-dyed, natural color. The white yarn in the sock is 40% baby alpaca wool, 40% merino wool, and 20% Cashlon. The black is nylon for reinforcement and durability, along with Spandex for elasticity.
- Both Alpaca and Merino wools are moisture wicking, breathable, insulating, and have naturally soothing properties. Perfect for strenuous outdoor activities, or for relaxing at the end of the day.
-CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine washable! Gentle wash in cool or lukewarm water with mild soap (we recommend Outback Gold Wool Wash). Line dry or lay flat to dry away from direct heat.
